Black Gold is a transformative initiative focused on advancing equity in education by empowering students and teachers in underserved urban communities. By preparing the next generation of Black educators, Black Gold seeks to create pathways for underserved students across the globe to achieve their full potential.#Black Gold is a CIVITISMO project focused on advancing international urban education equity. This work entails empowering underserved students globally by helping to prepare the next generation of dynamic and talented Black teachers to meet the challenge of preparing them for our new globalized society. This will also choice in their educational outcomes. Youth in all corners of the globe deserve the choice to open doors to the bountiful life a strong education can provide. They should be empowered with new paths leading to a greater sense of justice and equity.
